Hello everyone! If you haven't been on here in a few days, you might have noticed some changes to the site layout!

As a new administrator here on Robo Recall Mods, I saw several opportunities for improving the way our categories work, and ways to make it easier for those with questions to reach out and contact us admins. therefore, I've gone ahead and recategorized some of the content here on the site (don't worry, all the mods are still here) and added the welcome section as well as some more places in the forum for modders to converse. I hope you'll all enjoy the new spots, can't wait to talk to all of you! ^w^

Yeah, the same thing has been happening with me. I reorganized the forum to make it easier to work with for now, but the link system is still not working as it should, so I'll look into it.

Just noticed this is Wordpress, I know what your issue is. Wordpress uses a link system where it appends posts by a format, where you changed the categories (even a single uppercase to lowercase) would throw it all out of whack. Or if you changed the format layout it might be looking for p=2541123 where as, when it was created it was saved as post=tasakioHiINeedHelp.

You might have to revert any permalink/category changes you made otherwise anyone new to the site will just receive a 404 when trying to go to a thread.

Wow, that's something I hadn't thought of before! No wonder some of them worked and some didn't! I'm not sure if it's WordPress exactly, the admin site is something different, but I'll definitely look into it and see if I can get the website backend to reset those links somehow.

Just for reference, I do run another site with WordPress, so I know that system, but this site's is nothing like a WordPress backend. Hmmmmm....

I'm learning from the ground up too, since I was brought in as a new admin to help run things.

Yeah I assumed it was Wordpress due to you mentioning Categories, but looking at the source of the page it seems the site is created with:  https://www.websitetoolbox.com/

So the owner of the site might have to contact Support for help, I'm sure you have it under control but if you need a second pair of eyes I'll do whatever to be able to browse some mods. xD

Yeah, do you think you could comment on this page again Tasakio? I need to get an email back to my email address to check and make sure that the change I made worked. It seems like when they got rid of the other categories of the site that were beingunused, they forgot to change the main forum's address to get rid of the /community part of the url, which breaks those links it sends. It should be fixed now.
