So for a while now my mods have all been exporting to .robo files in extremely large file sizes, and I'm unsure quite why. So, to try and fix this, I'm going to be trying a couple of things, including reinstalling the mod editor! I'm going to make exports of all important mods and then clear the entire mod library out and reimport things to see if that fixes it, but if not, I'm going to wipe the entire thing and reinstall it. Hopefully it works, because 400MB for all these tiny code mods makes no sense!

It has something to do with the other mods you also have in your Editor. When packaging,  the editor seems to go over all of the mods you have installed to ensure compatibility and that all assets are where they should be. I know that in the MegaManXDash mod, the hand textures are the biggest part, so try copying out some of your other mods from the Editor's plugins folder and see if that helps.

What I ended up doing is clearing all my mods out and reinstalling. I have an exported copy of each plugin that I can add back into the folder one by one. Going to check and see if they export smaller now.

so it worked, but there's one tiny little problem. Since I only exported the newest version of every mod, some old reference to previous mods remain in the exports that I have to manually fix every time I import a new mod into the editor (fixed that on the smooth loco mod by moving the pawn mod to a duplicate) and then some mods use instanced materials that require the older mod's materials to work, so I have to remake those materials from scratch. woot.
